Hit-or-Miss Rules & Regulations:

  1. Promotion Dates: March 26 through June 28, 2006
  2. Contest will begin each weekday morning at 7:26 followed by 2 more contests throughout the day (Monday-Friday).
  3. No purchase necessary.
  4. Must be 18 years of age or older, although, prizes for winners under 18 must be picked up by a parent.
  5. 1 winner per household every 30 days.
  6. All prizes must be picked up within 30 days. Any prizes not picked up within 30-day period are forfeited.
  7. Prizes are not redeemable for cash value.
  8. Winners are responsible for any taxes on prize value.
  9. Winner assumes all liability in connection with prize won.
  10. Official game board will be supplied at sponsor locations and in your Star-Gazette but is not necessary to play.
  11. Every prize will have two squares; in order to win you must successfully match two squares. Four bonus squares will be hidden in the Star-Gazette: two in Sunday’s paper, one in Thursday’s Time Out section and one in the free Buzz section.
  12. If you choose two squares that don’t match, the game is over and you can try again later.
  13. If one of the squares chosen is a Joker, you automatically win the prize drawn if not already uncovered.
  14. If one of the squares chosen is a Mine Field, the game is over and you can try again later.
  15. Once a prize is won, the two squares relating to that prize will be considered “dead boxes,” if you should choose a “dead box” the game is over and you can try again later.
  16. To win the spa you must uncover all the boxes that spell “Eco Matrix”. To win the big screen TV you must uncover all the boxes that spell “Toshiba”. Remember the Joker can qualify for any letter.
